Last fall and winter the Hope sweater was all the rage. It was a big sweater with a turtleneck. I wrote about the sweater before. I thought it was very expensive. It was also very long. I spotted a cheaper and shorter version at the H & M.

I received a (my mom, actually) coupon from Takko Fashion with discount on one item. There was a coupon with 30 %, 20 % and 10 %. I wanted to go to Takko Fashion for quite some time. And with these coupons I had even more reasons to go! 30 % discount on the prices at Takko Fashion is a lot, thus even cheaper clothes.
A while ago H & M announced that Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett will be the faces of the Christmas collection for H & M. The collection looks festive and the models seems to be in good spirits for the upcoming holidays. I always love the Christmas lights and Christmas trees and I can't wait to see them everywhere. The streets are so dark without them. The collection from H & M has glitter and glamour with festive dresses and metallic items.

Yes, spring collection. Nike has realised pictures from their spring collection of 2015. It's never too early for pictures from a new collection right? Especially since Nike collections are filled with bright colours. This collection is no exception.

I went shopping this week and I was so happy. I felt like forever ago, which isn't entirely true. The last time I truly went shopping was at the beginning of September. Let's just say I was happy. Of course I bought some new items. You can see them here.

I have wrote a lot about Zara and how most collections don't really make me enthusiastic. This time it's no difference. But I might think the lookbook looks boring, you might think differently. So that's why I'm showing the latest lookbook from the Autumn/Winter collection.

Sorry for the lack of posts. I've been working on school and playing hooky. I shopped yesterday! It was so nice to get out of the house, you have no idea. But I'm back with a post about shoes. Because shoes are amazing. This post is about shoe trends according to Nelly.
Basic T-shirts and basic shirts are always nice to have. It's easy to combine with a little bit more unique looking item. I like to combine prints with basic T-shirts. I like the contrast between a print and basic. I also think an item stands out more if you let it shine on its own. So I have a new basic shirt, perfect for under a blazer or cardigan.
This shirt was originally € 6,90. But it was 50 % cheaper because it was sale. Even € 6,90 isn't expensive so imagine my happiness when it was even cheaper.

I finally shopped again! I was happy like a little kid to be out of the house and not working on school. I also bought some new things, which is always nice. I also bought something I can scratch of my wishlist, so hooray!

Last year I was still busy with my intern ship. Hard to believe that was a year ago. Again, this week wasn't really special. I worked an extra day. Did a lot of school work. Same old, same old. I do have lots of coats to show again!

After fall comes winter and since it's fall some fashion brands have already showed their collection for this winter. And some have already showed their spring collection for next year. That seems too be a bit early, but it can be fun. However today I'm showing the winter lookbook of Mango. I gotta say I love this new lookbook with Daria Werbowy. The collection seems fun and not too dark. Most of the pieces also look more appropriate for fall or spring though.

There was a big hoopla yesterday, because the collection of Alexander Wang for H & M appeared on the runway in New York. H & M also streamed the event but I didn't feel like waiting up until 2.15 AM for this. And the beauty of the internet is that I didn't need to stay up. Because here are the pictures from the fashion show.

I never saw the appeal of Doc Martens when I was younger. They were all the rage back then, but I just didn't like them. But lately I've seen them on blogs and I like the boots with so many outfits. I think the real Doc Martens are quite expensive. I also heard that especially in the beginning they can be quite painful. They take a while to get comfortable, but after a while they're super comfortable. Or so I've heard. But I found two boots who like Doc Martens but are more affordable. Especially the red ones.

Disco pants isn't something I wear. I admit, they look amazing on other people. But I wouldn't dare to wear them myself. I don't have the guts. I do admire the women who can pull them of. I think if I would wear them, I would feel more comfortable with a longer top, blouse or sweater. These leggings from C & A aren't disco pants, but they remind me of them. They faux leather leggings and are available for great prices.

This was a boring week. I spend most of my time working on my paper. But the end is near! Well, of the first version at least. But that's something already. Anyhow, let's talk about my outfits!

I loved the military navy coat the duchess of Cambridge wore a couple of years ago. Sure it was tight and it amplified her too thin frame, she still rocked it. And guess what I found. A similar coat at She Inside like the duchess wore.

After Zara had two mishaps, it's now time for an uproar about an H & M clothing item. According to Kurdish social media accounts this green jumpsuit from H & M looks too much like a Peshmerga uniform. The khaki uniforms are being worn by female Kurdish fighters. Fighters who are fighting IS/ISIS.

I know Christmas seems so far away since it's only October, but it's already here in almost two months. Most stores are already in the Christmas mood and I can see why. I love the Christmas lights. They make everything look more cozy. Especially when it's cold outside and when it's dark outside before it's even 5 PM. I think that can be depressing, but the Christmas lights help a lot. Why talk about Christmas already? Because I'm showing the Christmas lookbook from Primark.

Spoiler alert, my scarf collection grew with three scarves today. I will stop writing about scarves for a while now
(even though the Primark one with tartan and houndstooth is still on my wishlist). My online order from H & M finally arrived. And my mom called me when I was working on my schoolwork. She found an amazing scarf at Vero Moda. She send me a picture and I said yes, that one looks great. I did hesitate since I knew the package from H & M would arrive.
The coat I was stalking for weeks finally arrived. Well, I didn't stalk the coat itself. I stalked the webpage it was on. I refreshed the C & A webshop so many times during those weeks. But it remained sold out in my size. In most sizes btw. I spotted the coat at Wehkamp, where they sell C & A clothes as well. I was so happy when I saw it was still available. But when I saw the forwarding charges I hesitated. They were € 5,95, which I think is quite expensive. Especially since C & A had no forwarding charges.

Tartan has made a comeback last year in mainstream fashion. It was never truly gone, but nowadays you see a lot more items. One thing that was very popular was the Zara tartan scarf. Now you have a good lookalike at Primark for less than 10 euros. I realize I just wrote about scarfs and I just ordered two. Which will come tomorrow, yay!
After days of moaning about wanting this C & A coat, I finally ordered it. Not at C & A unfortunately since it was all sold out at their webshop. Which I thought was a real shame, since their webshop is good, fast and you don't have to pay forwarding charges at the moment! But I really wanted this coat and it was only € 29,90. So when I saw the exact same jacket from C & A sold at an other webshop I was really excited. Until I saw the forwarding charges. Those were € 5,95. Which I think is ridiculously high, especially since it's a huge webshop.

I was so surprised when I saw these items at Zara for affordable prices. I guess Zara is feeling the pressure of H & M and namely Primark. Since Primark has opened several stores in several countries (this last few weeks alone two stores opened in the Netherlands) more people can shop there. And Primark is very popular over here. I wouldn't be surprised if most stores, like Mango and H & M, are feeling the pressure as well. So Zara has now some items which are reasonably priced. They're mostly basic, but I let you be the jugde.
Sweater € 7,99

It's October already. The tenth month... If you weren't think about fall, I think that will change soon. The temperatures have already dropped here. Even though last week I could still wear outfits you would expect during colder summer days. I think next week outfit of the week will be different because I'm already wearing a cardigan. Let's not skip ahead and go back to week 40.

A nice basic (black) dress is a staple item in my opinion. I didn't wear a lot of skirts and dresses until last year. I still don't wear them a lot, but I wear them more often. I'm still looking for a LBD (little black dress) because I actually don't have one. Shocker right? Two of these dresses from H & M are not LBD but they're still cute. And until October 5 they're € 9,99. After that, they will be their original price again of € 19,99. The dress looks like a classic staple item in all three colours.

I can't believe I completely forgot my blogoversary. Then I got a reminder and I thought it was today, but as it happens I'm a day too late! My blogoversary was actually yesterday. Oops! I have been completely wrapped up in school this last few weeks, so I guess that's why I forgot. Anyway, up to another year! Let's hope I won't forgot my blogoversary next year!
On the one hand I look forward to colder weather and on the other hand I don't. I like sweaters and I love the fact how in the winter you can feel really cozy when you're warm. But when the cold weather comes I crave summer. Yet when it's summer and it's really hot outside, I long for a more normal temperature. Also winters are the best when it's cold outside, but you're at home where it's warm. Long story short, after writing this post I want to order two scarfs I really liked.

As a kid I never liked scarves. I wasn't until I was in my teens, I started to like them. Remember Pashmina's? Those were trendy ten years ago. I had three of them and they were really warm. I think I still have one, though I have no idea were it is. I do know that I had a light blue one which eventually became almost white due the many washes. Even though I bought three amazing scarves last year, (I especially love this scarf) I couldn't help for wanting to order these from H & M.

Do you remember the Minnetonka boots? They were trendy several years. I had fake ones and I loved them. I still would love new ones, ones that affordable. These sorta look like what I have in mind. I might want them a little bit shorter.
These are € 34,95 and you can buy them at Loavies. Do you like Minnetonka's?
